Whether hospital clinician, skilled nursing clinician, durable medical equipment provider or home health provider, we are honored by your consideration of our products. Further, we are emotionally vested in better outcomes for your patients.
How can that be? Just read a bit further below… You never know just who will answer the phone at Progressive Wound Care®.
We Understand…
Progressive Wound Care® was founded by practicing clinicians to address unmet needs of the patients we serve. As a wound care practitioner, you are well aware that chronic wounds can result in debilitation, limb amputation, or even mortality among patients.
Our passion for such patients is central to every product development challenge we pursue. Within our own practice, we were routinely frustrated by the lack of dressing options for the unique needs of chronic wound patients.
After years of frustration within our practices, we decided to put a team together to do something about it. The GELTEX® Wound Care Set for NPWT and LipoGel® Advanced Wound Dressing were the first of several commercial products to materialize our collaboration with these driven researchers. In 2014, we launched IodoFoam®, our proprietary CR iodine foam dressing. Collectively our team has developed and commercialized over 120 pharmaceutical and medical device products to date. You can expect more exciting innovations in the years to come.
Recent advances in biomaterials have provided the physical properties to dramatically improve the performance of wound dressings. We look forward to sharing the benefits of these developments with your practice & patients.
We are proud to introduce in 2015 the new Sanity G6 system for negative pressure wound therapy (npwt). This new patented system is both lightweight and easy to operate. Two important features are the unique system that moves the air pump from within the unit to inside the canister, thus insuring no fluids or odors can enter the unit and lead to cross contamination and other infection control concerns. The Sanity G6 patented venting system ensures the vacuum delivered at the wound site matches that set at the controls. (Discontinued)
